Sanctuary One is rooted in mutual healing of people and animals, and it is more important than ever that we prioritize mental health, healing, and connection in these unprecedented times. That's why we are excited to announce the launch of the first ever Walk and Waddle virtual walk-a-thon fundraiser. Pets across the nation are banding together with their humans to walk and waddle to sustain Southern Oregon’s only Care Farm! Starting November 17th, they are taking to the (virtual) streets to raise funds for Sanctuary One culminating on Giving Tuesday, a national day of charitable giving!

We hope you’ll join us in rallying your friends, family, and networks to support Sanctuary One in meeting our goal this Giving Tuesday. You can help by making a donation today either through the main page or on a team's personal fundraising page. Not only that, a very generous anonymous donor has stepped up and committed to matching $5,400. That means every dollar donated will be doubled! You can make twice the impact for people, animals, and the earth this Fall.

When you support a team participating in the Walk and Waddle, you are taking active steps to help the animals continue to thrive and you are supporting a crucial outdoor learning and healing resource for our community. Thank you for caring.

Want to join as a fundraiser? Getting started is fun and easy, we'll give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With an individual goal to raise the equivalent of just $1/day for the year of 2021, your support provides food and medical care for animals who come to the farm. Not only that, when you and your pet create your personal fundraiser page you also support boots on the ground work in the gardens to get more food donated to our local food banks. You ensure that service learning groups continue to be empowered through projects on the farm free of charge.

With your help, we know we can reach our fundraising goal, culminating on Giving Tuesday, December 1st! Fundraisers who meet their $365 raised goal will earn a campaign T-shirt and prizes will be awarded to our top fundraisers including a Sanctuary One hoodie for runner up and a delicious package of local goodies and swag for the team that raises the most!
