Be the light during our winter season by sponsoring an animal as a holiday gift.

Pet sponsorship gifts support the three prong mission of Sanctuary One: People, Animals, & the Earth. To make sure your gift does the most good your donation will be used in combination with other sponsorship gifts to help people and animals find mutual healing at Sanctuary One.

To find the perfect gift for everyone on your list, browse the photos of our ambassador animals and check out their stories.

Sponsor an animal here at Sanctuary One in honor of a friend or loved one and know what an difference your kindness makes for all the animals who find hope and healing at the care farm.

With your gift of $25 or more, we will send a winter themed card and photo of the animal to let your loved ones know about the lucky animal chosen just for them.

Check out the animals below and see who would be a perfect fit for your loved one as a sponsored gift. You'll be able to select one of them when you select In Honor of someone when you donate.

Gumball: Gumball is a Yorkshire rescued from a cruelty neglect case in Washington as a piglet. Gumball is 8 years old and has been at Sanctuary One since he was about three months old and the size of a house cat. At 946 pounds he's a gentle giant. He loves talking with people and is always eager to greet Sanctuary One guests.

Pippa: Pippa is an 8 years old Kune Kune. Pippa was living in California when the Woolsey Fire struck in 2018. She was left behind when thousands of homes were being evacuated. She suffered some singed hair but managed to survive the wildfire and, thankfully, she was rescued by some really caring people that eventually got her to us. Her favorite thing to do is relax in the sunshine, roll over for belly rubs, and chow down on her healthy salad made from weekly produce donations.

Tippy: Sweet Tippy is our only ambassador cat. She came to the care farm in 2016 to live out her life with us after her owner passed away. She keeps us company in the office and loves cuddling up with interns staying in the farm house!

3 Amigoats: Ned, Dusty, and Lucky: Born on a dairy farm in February of 2020, the three boys were rescued by a partner agency and brought, at three months old, to live out their lives at Sanctuary One. They've joined us at the hospice house and work with other groups to help as ambassadors by offering their healing comfort. They are curious, silly, and sometimes troublemakers. We have been honored to watch them grow up and look forward to years of their company.

Django: Django lived the first four years of his life on a short chain. After a year of being at Sanctuary One Django’s health and coat improved with proper medical care and nutrition. He learned that people can be kind, and living with other goats can be fun! It is pure joy to see Django waddle in his own unique trot across the pond pasture path to come say hi.

Pavarotti: Pav joined us in 2012 and is 20 years old this year. He loves his annual carrot birthday cake. He quickly becomes a favorite of all those who visit the care farm. His favorite thing is to get chin scratches by his human friends and to enjoy the sunshine of Southern Oregon.

Cowboy: Cowboy is our only non-Ambassador in our Winter Sponsorship program, as we do not have dogs as ambassadors. However, Cowboy is our current longest dog resident at the care farm, much to our surprise. He is loyal, affectionate funny and wants to be with his person. He would love a job on a ranch or would make an awesome hiking partner and he loves to ride in the truck.
